本片介绍了我国唯一的带枪部落苗族少年滾拉拉（王吉甩 饰）的成长故事。在我国西南苗族部落，有好多世代相传的民族习俗，比如男孩要行成人礼，到一定年龄将得到父亲赠送的猎枪，以示长大成人。滾拉拉自小与奶奶（石鸣妈 饰）相依为命，从未见过自己的父亲，他不止一次问过奶奶爸爸在哪，但毎次都被奶奶搪塞过去。眼下他已届满十五岁，可困窘的家庭实在拿不出500元的制枪费，于是他只身外出寻找父亲。途中，他遇见好友贾古旺（滾当元 饰），俩人曾是患难至交，不料，贾古旺次日罹难，滾拉拉亲自送好友去了极乐世界。奶奶用一生攒下的银饰为他买了一把枪，送给本来应该父亲相赠的猎枪，直到这时他才知道，自己不过是个弃儿......。Ellie returns to her high school as a teacher ten years after she was nearly killed in a series of brutal slayings on the cheerleader squad.
