Little does Kato – or anyone – know that life is about to take some seri...。钟信（林保怡饰）和钟正（王喜饰）是情同手足的亲兄弟，两人共同隶属于情报科，一人负责监听和发展线人，一人负责分析情报。身处繁华而又忙碌的香港，警局里工作和任务的繁重可想而知，钟信和钟正一心想要背负起肩上沉重的责任，却疏忽了他们生命中最重要亦最珍贵的人。 钟信和妻子程美丽（伍咏薇饰）结婚多年，聚少离多，彼此之间感情早就所剩无几，而钟正和女友许心言（邵美琪饰）之间亦分分合合总无定数。巧合的是，许心言竟在误打误撞之中来到了程美丽所在的杂志社工作，成为了她的下属，在这两个女人之间，一场明争暗斗正在悄悄拉开序幕。。
