The subtitle of Jean-Marie Straub and Danièle Huillet’s first feature, from 1965, “Only Violence Helps Where Violence Reigns,” suggests the fierce political program evoked by their rigorous aesthetic. The pretext of the film, set in Cologne, is Heinrich Böll’s novel “Billiards at Half Past Nine,” which they strip down to a handful of stark events and film with a confrontational angularity akin to Bartók’s music that adorns the soundtrack. The subtlest of cues accompany the story’s complex flashbacks. The middle-aged Robert Fähmel tells a young hotel bellhop of persecutions under the Third Reich| his elderly father, Heinrich, an architect famed for a local abbey, recalls the militarism of the First World War, when his wife, Johanna, incurred trouble for insulting the Kaiser. A third-generation Fähmel is considering architecture, just as the exiled brother of Robert’s late wife, returns, only to be met by their former torturer, now a West German official taking part in a celebratory parade of war veterans. Straub and Huillet make the layers of history live in the present tense, which they judge severely. The tamped-down acting and the spare, tense visual rhetoric suggest a state of moral crisis as well as the response—as much in style as in substance—that it demands.。木下薰20歲即將從女子短期大學畢業，開始找工作，因為家不是住在東京，多數東京的公司認為單身女子住在外，都不願聘請，老家的父母也希望女兒出嫁前能住在家裡，多一點時間相聚，一直逼她回家鄉，甚至幫她安排好工作，買了車子，但是還年輕的她想在東京試試看...。相田爱在老师的信赖下，成为了大贝第一中学学生会会长。在一次社会科的户外活动，她和同学来到地标建筑四叶塔（Clover Tower）参观，一路上忙着照顾众人。就在她终于可以停下来，期待展望台的景色时，巨大的怪物“自我中”突然出现，引起了庞大的混乱。不甘旁人被伤害的相田，遇上了扑克牌王国的精灵夏露露，倚靠不可思议的饰物能量，变身成为光之美少女－－心天使。随后其青梅竹马六花和小学玩伴有栖亦加入光之美少女的行列，誓要一同要把失去“爱”的怪物彻底净化。。
