ABC喜剧《喜新不厌旧 Black-Ish》在五月前获预订座落在Freeform的衍生剧，现改名为《成长不容易 grown-ish》（前名《college-ish》），首季为13集，预定在明年1月3日播出。 《成长不容易》讲述Zoey在离开家人来到大学后，很快发现这里的生活不能事事如意。母剧演员Deon Cole会在衍生剧继续饰演Charlie，他在大学兼职当市场学教授。Emily Arlook饰演南加州大学新生Miriam，「万事通」的她对人十分坦率，该角在母剧中原本由Mallory Sparks饰演。Chris Parnell饰演南加州大学的事务主任﹑Trevor Jackson饰演一个具有社会意识的大二学生，他们已在后门试映集出场。。还记得那个草裙娃娃吗？它惹了大祸，把哀木涕扔到了时光之穴，还夺走了他的记忆！时光守护者赛菲尔发现这件事与一场将要降临艾泽拉斯的大灾难有关，于是把哀木涕救了回来，并且让他承担拯救世界的责任。恢复记忆的哀木涕对自己的斑斑劣迹也后悔不已，决定洗心革面，做一个真正的战士。浪子回头金不换，努力的他终于唤回了一度离去的伙伴。但是，作为敌人的联盟会如何看待他的蜕变？赛菲尔所说的大灾难又究竟是什么呢……。When a group of old college friends, now in their 30s, gather over Christmas at their recently deceased friend's remote mountain cabin to celebrate his life, they see it as an opportunity to come together as the cohesive unit they once were.
