In this bitingly satirical film Peter Slovan, a continuous source of trouble for the film functionaries of the socialist Slovakia, tackles an evergreen topic – the corruptive effects of power. Barnabáš Kos, a triangle player at a symphonic orchestra, is suddenly promoted to serve as the head of the said institution, even though both he and his superiors deem him completely unfit for the task. Encouraged in equal parts by this unexpected recognition and the servile praise of his colleagues, Kos’s modesty starts to gradually vanish. The erstwhile bashful and aloof percussionist quickly becomes aware of the advantages of his new office, and begins to realise his increasingly ludicrous artistic ambitions. Ultimately, the submissive marionette turns into a source of public humiliation, and his astonishing career finds an abrupt end. Orchestra serves here as a microcosm that grotesquely reflects the absurd and tragicomic mechanisms of the paranoid apparatus of power. Eva Näripe。玲（大冢爱 饰）20岁那年从乡下来到了东京，想于东京寻找自己的梦想。她在一间叫“梦之藏”的居酒屋打工，在那里她认识了几个好朋友：喜欢画画的真希（小林真央 饰）；想结婚的凉子（真木阳子 饰）；还有喜欢演戏的广野（松本莉绪 饰）。 本来是乐队吉他手的隆司（瑛太 饰）表示喜欢玲的声音而邀请了玲加入自己的乐队，但他自己却加入了另外的乐队。隆司离开后，作为乐队主音的玲一直带领着自己的乐队向前走。在凉子的婚礼上，她从身处纽约的真希告知，隆司也在纽约，但已经没有继续音乐事业了。原来隆司所在的乐队，传出了暴力事件，面临解散。 得知消息的玲，决定前往纽约寻找她隆司。得到队友支持前往纽约的玲，最终找到了隆司，却遭到隆司拒之门外……。陈建国（沙景昌 饰）是个劳改释放人员，服刑期间表现良好提前减刑出狱。不久他结识了秀妹（马睿 饰），两人相见恨晚，几个月后谈婚论嫁。在收拾新房时秀妹发现陈在狱中劳改积极分子奖状，犹如五雷轰顶。万念俱灰的陈建国被患腿疾的母亲带到秀妹家赔罪，秀妹斟酌再三同意了婚事。婚后不久，陈建国再次因官司入狱劳教，此时秀妹已有身孕，双方家人受到严重打击。管教人员针对情绪波动较大的陈建国因人施教，安排家人探视，以鼓起他生活下去的勇气。解教后，原单位给他重新安排了工作，并支付了秀妹剖腹产的医疗费。陈建国心存感激，决心今后加倍回馈社会......。
