因为在联赛斗殴，小镇足球队的全体男性成员被开除赛籍。为了不缺席一年一度的盛大赛事，球队的教练找来了当地热爱足球的姑娘们组成了一支临时队伍，其中有普通家庭主妇、社团经理、警察、餐厅服务生等，大家积极训练，闹出不少笑料，她们最终将代表小镇足球队上场。。Following the murder of her family at the hands of her father in the wake of World War I, a young woman is sent to live in a convent.
