根据中寮乡爽文国中教导主任王政忠所著的畅销书《老师，你会不会回来》改编成电影。王政忠在921大地震发生后，回到实习的爽文国中，看到满目疮痍景象，学生哭着问：“老师，你会不会回来？”，让他决定回到该校任教，后来写成书，成为台湾翻转教育的领头羊之一。。Photographer Greg Nolan meets Bernice, and loses both his job and his apartment. However, Bernice manages to get him a new apartment, but it is so expensive that he has to get two full-time jobs. Nolan has trouble finding time to do them both without his bosses finding out.。
