故事发生在一艘正在驶往波士顿的游轮上。半路上，邮轮遭遇了猛烈的风暴袭击，最终导致了抛锚。船只产生了裂缝，大量的海水开始渗入船体内部，如果不加以控制的话，整艘邮轮都将有沉没的风险。雷是船上职位最高的船员，这也就意味着，他对于船上30名船员的生命有着不可推卸的责任。经验丰富的雷决定不坐以待毙，而是带领船员们展开了自救行动。 与此同时，马萨诸塞州海岸警卫队收到了邮轮发出的求救信号，派出了救援队进行搜救，伯尼是搜救队的队长。在他的带领之下，四名队员驾驶着一艘非常简陋的木质救生船驶进了茫茫大海中。。正沉迷于桌游的乾坤穿越到了大乾王朝。就在乾坤搞不清状况之时，一段记忆涌入了他的脑海。原来，他穿越到了母后被倭寇所杀，自身也因纨绔而失宠的大皇子身上。但随后的见闻却让他大为震惊。。SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。
