The Life & Times of Tim is an animated comedy that tells the story of Tim Dildarian, an average cubicle monkey in his mid 20s that works for the generic company "Omnicorp" in New York. Throughout the series, Tim constantly finds himself in increasingly awkward situations in both his work and personal life。志愿者高井有子（占部房子饰）在伊拉克遭遇绑架，虽然最终获释，但回到祖国日本后却遭遇了种种不公：工作的酒店内因有人对其进行诽谤而将有子辞退；父亲（田中隆三饰）也因为收到大量的匿名电话而被迫辞职；男友横加指责，恋情终结；便利店禁止进入；来自周遭的肆意欺负和挑衅。 不堪忍受压力的父亲跳楼自杀，这更加剧了有子内心的痛苦，她决心重返那个战火不断、硝烟四起的国家…… 本片获2005年戛纳电影节金棕榈奖提名。。
