Thy plonge dans la vie nocturne et rêve d’intégrer un groupe de motards. Trois manières de vivre, trois destins, trois ...。林维扬（秦祥林饰）是在美国念土木工程的留学生，一个人漂泊在异国的生活并不轻松，在课余时间里，林维扬会在餐馆里打工以补贴生活费，老实本分的林维扬十分讨餐馆老板的喜欢，而老板的女儿杜爱华（林青霞饰）亦对林维扬青睐有加。随着时间的推移，林维扬和杜爱华越走越近，最终有情人终成眷属。 可幸福的时光没能够持续太久，林维扬收到了来自家人的信息，因为妹妹的未婚先孕，导致母亲遭受了过大的打击一病不起，此时正值林维扬即将毕业的档口，他决定离开美国，回台湾创业，一对有情人即将天各一方。。
