1933年，女共产党员赵一曼与她的丈夫老曹，受命在日军占领下的哈尔滨市电车工人中开展工作，组织工人罢工。敌人慑于群众声威，表面上佯装让步，暗地里却加紧部署镇压。赵一曼洞察此情，在罢工胜利后迅速组织转移。老曹不幸被捕，不久即被杀害。赵一曼转移到农村后，动员教育农民，组织起一支抗日队伍，活跃在珠河两岸。1934年秋，他们又与王团长率领的一支抗日队伍在珠河附近的山里会师。1935年冬，传来红军长征到达陕北的消息，部队举行联欢晚会， 营地却被敌人发现，敌人蜂拥而来，将整座山团团围住。赵一曼当机立断，嘱王团长率部突围，她带着一个排留下掩护，终因负伤而被俘。敌人对她诱降，被严词拒绝。继而又加严刑拷打，她仍不屈服。敌人得不到任何口供，又唯恐她伤重死去，断了线索，便把她送入医院。在医院里，她对护士小韩和敌人派来监视她的看守反复讲述抗日道理，晓以大义。不久，他们两人自动提出愿与赵一曼一起逃走，投奔抗日队伍。某夜大雨滂沱，赵一曼等三人逃离医院。中途被敌人追上，抓回狱中。临刑时，她大义凛然，面无惧色，英勇就义。。Centaurworld follows a warhorse who is transported from her embattled world to a strange land inhabited by silly, singing centaurs of all species, shapes, and sizes.
