李开心（霍思燕 饰）邂逅了名为汤帅（雷佳音 饰）的男子，情投意合的两人坠入了情网。然而这段门不当户不对的恋情遭到了汤帅的母亲安琪儿（顾艳 饰）的强烈反对，不顾母亲的阻挠，汤帅放弃了即将继承的财产，净身出户，和李开心一起组建了新的家庭。 不久之后，家族企业遭遇了金融危机最终宣告破产，安琪儿失去了一切无处可去只能投奔汤帅。李开心热情的收留了安琪儿，耐心的劝导和开解她，最终，安琪儿再度找到了生活的意义和真谛。大梅（王晓卯 饰）怀孕了，自此之后，她的全部心思都放在了腹中的孩子身上，忽略了老公李涛（邢瀚卿 饰），导致李涛的秘书趁虚而入。。1962年冬，焦裕禄（李雪健）被派往灾荒严重的河南省兰考县任县委第二书记，眼见街上成群结队的乞丐、纷纷逃亡外地的饥民，他心情十分沉重，下决心根治长期困苦兰考百姓的风沙、水涝和盐碱“三害”，不久，他在多次深入基层做调查研究的基础上，制定出治理“三害”的方案。但他深入群众的工作方式招致县长、县委副书记吴荣先（李仁堂）的不满。 升为县委书记后，焦裕禄不顾肝脏经常胀痛，几乎每日都坚持去治理“三害”第一线工作，很得人民爱戴，吴荣光指使人就某件事借题发挥想将焦裕禄整垮，结果全县群众聚在一起为他鸣冤。其后兰考遭遇特大水灾，焦裕禄的肝病虽然已到晚期，仍坚持去抗灾第一线。。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
