故事发生在解放前的北京。丐帮首领牛二爷整天带一帮泼皮横行市井，孙豆汁因没孝敬牛二，豆汁摊被牛二捣毁，儿子孙六血气方刚，非要找牛二拼命。烤肉铺刘掌柜与孙六同时相中李窝脖的闺女李淑英，无奈孙六人穷志短，只好加入丐帮，仰仗牛二势力摆平了刘掌柜。孙豆汁见儿子当了混混，一气之下将他赶出家门，淑英见孙六如此不争气，只好皈依了佛门。谷掌柜与刘掌柜结怨已久，牛二为从中渔利，关键时刻出卖了孙六。孙六看透了牛二险恶用心，他抢走牛二的龙鞭，在祖始爷帮衬下成为了混混首领。上任伊始，他带人砸了刘掌柜的烤肉店，孙豆汁扬言要跟孙六断绝父子关系......。A troupe of struggling stage actors is rehearsing for a small-town production of a play. Everything seems to be as it should until one of the cast members turns up dead. In a panic, the others try to get out, only to find they are now locked in the theater with the killer! Which one of them committed the murder, and who will get out alive?。
