She sets to find the real killer, and gets help from the congressional advisor, Eddie Sanger who is called to be on t...。故事要从二十世纪三十年代的江南水乡——乌镇说起，自幼成为吴家少爷家祺陪读的张忠良和丫环素芬青梅竹马，感情甚笃。吴老爷一心向道，娶了八房姨太只为练成“九转还阳大功”。因为当年强占了儿子家祺的心上人紫纶，父子二人反目成仇，致使家祺离家出走。大管家吴宝联合四姨太几度暗害紫纶，紫纶想逃离吴家却连累素芬遭毒打后患上失语症，为了不让素芬重蹈覆辙地成为吴家九姨太，紫纶行刺不成被绑上了绞刑架，幸而被及时赶回的家祺救下。最后，一场大火成全了忠良和素芬……。南方某小镇的一座大院，里面住着包租公黄金海、郁郁不得志的画家李加索、急于上位的小女演员刘萌萌、镇上的戏剧名旦“小香兰”。因为都急于用钱，他们凑在一起想出了一个馊主意，让画家李加索假死，以此来炒作他的画作。一个假葬礼就这样策划起来，李加索的画价格也直线飙升。然而事情的发展远远超出了他们的想象……。
