志愿者高井有子（占部房子饰）在伊拉克遭遇绑架，虽然最终获释，但回到祖国日本后却遭遇了种种不公：工作的酒店内因有人对其进行诽谤而将有子辞退；父亲（田中隆三饰）也因为收到大量的匿名电话而被迫辞职；男友横加指责，恋情终结；便利店禁止进入；来自周遭的肆意欺负和挑衅。 不堪忍受压力的父亲跳楼自杀，这更加剧了有子内心的痛苦，她决心重返那个战火不断、硝烟四起的国家…… 本片获2005年戛纳电影节金棕榈奖提名。。A troupe of struggling stage actors is rehearsing for a small-town production of a play. Everything seems to be as it should until one of the cast members turns up dead. In a panic, the others try to get out, only to find they are now locked in the theater with the killer!
