南方某小镇发生了一起恶性交通事故，肇事者逃逸，为了能尽快抓获逃犯，交警队全力以赴。意外的是，在追捕此次交通案件中，又引发出一桩沉积五年的毒品案，交通案的肇事者竟然跟贩毒人员有关，期间曲折不断惊心动魄，最终交警队联合刑警队并案侦查破获此案，犯罪分子被绳之以法。。杉原航平（多和田秀弥饰）是一名听障患者，因为听力微弱，航平常常会做出让人起疑的举动，受到别人的另眼相待，久而久之，航平学会了隐藏自己的想法，远离人群和是非，生活在只有自己的世界里。 某日，一位名叫佐川太一（小野寺晃良饰）的男子大刺刺的闯入了航平封闭的世界之中，对于航平的听障问题，太一并不刻意的避讳，就仿佛这是再正常不过的事情一般。太一的坦率慢慢的感染了航平，与此同时，航平内心里对太一别样的感情也被唤醒了。航平的听力无法避免的一天比一天差，在彻底丧失听觉之前，他能够和太一心意相通吗？。In this bitingly satirical film Peter Slovan, a continuous source of trouble for the film functionaries of the socialist Slovakia, tackles an evergreen topic – the corruptive effects of power. Barnabáš Kos, a triangle player at a symphonic orchestra, is suddenly promoted to serve as the head of the said institution, even though both he and his superiors deem him completely unfit for the task. Encouraged in equal parts by this unexpected recognition and the servile praise of his colleagues, Kos’s modesty starts to gradually vanish. The erstwhile bashful and aloof percussionist quickly becomes aware of the advantages of his new office, and begins to realise his increasingly ludicrous artistic ambitions. Ultimately, the submissive marionette turns into a source of public humiliation, and his astonishing career finds an abrupt end. Orchestra serves here as a microcosm that grotesquely reflects the absurd and tragicomic mechanisms of the paranoid apparatus of power.
