Meanwhile, David and L...。讲述的是保乾陵和盗乾陵两个家族之间的殊死较量的故事。寇家是有组织的盗墓贼，整个家族把盗乾陵视为成功与幸福的归宿，为盗乾陵几代人均付出了生命与鲜血的代价。而秦家却是祖传的守陵人，因为乾陵的平安与否直接关系到八百里秦川的平安，秦家几代人以不惧生死的信念前赴后继，与乾陵共存亡。在盗乾陵和保乾陵之间，秦寇两家展开了一次又一次斗智斗勇的较量……。导演两年前用纪录片《再见，白楼》（《金边白楼的前世今生》）向自己的童年故居致敬。今次有贾樟柯的公司参与制作，他则以剧情片来细说这栋大楼的居民在逼迁前的故事。主角和两位好友每天都在白楼内练舞，希望终有一天可以上电视台参加比赛。眼见白楼面临清拆，他的父亲想尽办法组织居民，向政府争取更合理的赔偿方案。此时死党亦将离开柬埔寨，他发现从前安稳的家园未必能跟上时代的变化。。
